The Prophecy
A Fateful Crash
The player takes on the role of a cargo pilot whose plane crashes mysteriously over a remote valley in Romania. Deirdre, the daughter of Kiril Kristoverikh, rescues the player. It becomes evident that the valley is trapped in eternal darkness, ruled by Kairn, an immortal vampire.
A prophecy foretells the player’s arrival, marking them as the key to destroying Kairn and freeing the valley.
A Journey of Prophecy
As the player progresses, they fulfill deeds prophesied to defeat Kairn. This includes healing victims, battling evil creatures, and addressing the tormented souls within the valley.
The narrative unfolds with layers of complexity, introducing Andrei, Kiril’s reanimated son, and unveiling the dark motives of the valley’s inhabitants.
The Agrippa’s Curse
The Agrippa, an evil sentient tome, reveals itself as a central force in Kairn’s origin. The player, guided by the prophecy, frees the Agrippa and learns of Kairn’s true name, a crucial element to weaken the vampire.
Deirdre’s kidnapping and the revelation of Kiril’s corruption add emotional depth to the unfolding drama.
Confronting the Darkness
The climax approaches as the player heads to Kairn’s stronghold. Engaging in a formidable battle, they deploy a combination of items to weaken Kairn’s powers.
A sealed coffin becomes the battleground, leading to a final confrontation where the player must drive a stake through Kairn’s heart and behead him to vanquish the immortal threat.
